Requirements
You must be at least 14 years of age to volunteer, but we also allow children 8 - 13 years of age to volunteer with a parent. We do require that volunteers commit 6 hours per month. All volunteers are required to attend an orientation before they start their volunteer work at SAVE. The orientation lasts approximately one hour and covers SAVE's policies and procedures, volunteer opportunities, scheduling and other information about our programs. Orientations are held at the shelter.
2008-9 Saturday Orientation Dates - 12 noon
PLEASE SIGN UP BY CALLING 609-921-6122 OR BY EMAIL, donielle@savehomelessanimals.org. Due to the enormous interest in our volunteer orientations combined with the limited space in the shelter, we are limiting our orientations to 20 people per session.
